Российская государственная библиотека по искусству приглашает принять участие в научной конференции Шестые Международные Михоэлсовские чтения, которые пройдут 24-25 ноября 2009 г. Конференция 2007 года продолжает рассмотрение научной проблемы «Национальный театр в контексте многонациональной культуры». Театроведы, филологи, библиографы, сотрудники библиотек, музеев, архивов, а также книговеды, редакторы и издатели, журналисты, преподаватели и другие специалисты, занимающиеся проблемами национального театра и межнациональных театральных связей, приглашаются принять участие в Чтениях.
The International conference Dialogue of generations in the context of Slavic and Jewish cultural traditionswill be held on December, 2-4, 2009 at the Institute of Slavic Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow. Anti-Jewish Violence: Reconceptualizing “the Pogrom” in European History, 17th-20th Century” The International Center for Russian and East European Jewish Studies in Moscow, The Leonid Nevzlin Research Center for Russian and East European Jewry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and The Baltic and East European Graduate School in Stockholm are pleased to invite you to participate in the international conference, “Anti-Jewish Violence: Reconceptualizing “the Pogrom” in European History, 17th – 20th Century.” The conference will be held from 21-24 May 2005 at the Sodertorn University College in Stockholm. The conference will focus on the history of anti-Jewish violence in an inter-ethnic context. Moreover, this conference intends to address anti-Jewish violence within wider patterns of European history and inter-ethnic conflict. Particular emphasis will be put on the social causes, the contemporary concepts and stereotypes, the visualization and the shaping of collective memory of these events. Presentations at the conference will include the following types and themes:
