Events
Российская государственная библиотека по искусству приглашает принять участие в научной конференции Шестые Международные Михоэлсовские чтения, которые пройдут 24-25 ноября 2009 г. Конференция 2007 года продолжает рассмотрение научной проблемы «Национальный театр в контексте многонациональной культуры». Театроведы, филологи, библиографы, сотрудники библиотек, музеев, архивов, а также книговеды, редакторы и издатели, журналисты, преподаватели и другие специалисты, занимающиеся проблемами национального театра и межнациональных театральных связей, приглашаются принять участие в Чтениях.
The International conference Dialogue of generations in the context of Slavic and Jewish cultural traditionswill be held on December, 2-4, 2009 at the Institute of Slavic Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow. Conferences and Seminars Our centre holds annual international conferences of the series “History and Culture of Russian and East European Jewry: New Sources, New Approaches”. Besides, we hold joint scientific conferences in the field of Russian and East European Jewish history and culture studies together with our foreign partners. Young Researchers’ Forum in Russian and East European Jewish studies was for the first time held in 2004 Leipzig, Germany. Three Forums and the development workshop for the alumni of the International Forum of Young Scholars of Russian and East European Jewry have been already held from 2004. In addition to that, our center holds seminars and round tables devoted to significant events and persons in the history of Russian and East European Jewry. For example, in 2003 we held a round table commemorating the Beilis case. International Center for Russian & East European Jewish Studies holds a series of public lectures. Public Lectures. In 2006 the International Center for Russian & East European Jewish Studies arranged the 8th Congress of the European Association for Jewish Studies.
